Jesmond Parish Church is a 7 day a week church with a vibrant programme of events that cater for all.

Home Groups

Home Groups are small groups, which meet on alternate Wednesday evenings (there are Thursday evening and daytime groups as well) for Bible study, prayer and fellowship. It is important to be part of a smaller fellowship group where we can get to know people, apply the Bible together and pray for and support one another in our Christian witness.

Prayer

Prayer is an essential part of our church family life with many opportunities to meet corporately, in small groups and individually.

Children

We love to see children diving into the Bible and having a stack of fun into the bargain. From whole-family events through to weekly programmes, weekends away and crazy holiday clubs children get to discover Jesus of the Bible and play, while being cared for by our fabulous teams of trained leaders.

Youth

We have a wide range of groups and events designed with young people in mind. Time together is always fun, with plenty of space to find out what God is saying to young people today. We are always ready to welcome new people week by week, so please join us and bring your friends too!

Scouts & Guides

The Scout Association and Girlguiding UK provide adventurous activities and personal development opportunities, and here, in a church setting. PLEASE NOTE: Our Rainbows and Rangers groups are not currently meeting.

Music

Music is a key part of the life of JPC and we love to see people using their musical gifts to serve Christ and his church. If you'd like more information about the music ministry or if you'd like to get involved please get in touch via music@church.org.uk

Walking

If you are interested in going for a walk (usually around 6-8 miles) in the local area, we'd love to have you along! We normally meet the last Saturday of the month (March to October inclusive) and there is normally a tea shop involved! Dates, meeting times & locations are advertised in the weekly email.
